What makes Calibr different

Not another ATS. An agent.

Six capabilities that put Calibr in a category of one.

Capability 01

Multi-agent CV scoring

Five specialist agents evaluate every CV in parallel — technical, experience, education, soft skills, and additional factors. A Sonnet 4.6 synthesis pass produces strengths, gaps, and tailored interview questions. One specialist failure degrades only that component, never the whole CV.

  • 5 parallel specialists per candidate
  • Per-component fallback to a keyword scorer when an agent times out
  • Synthesis preserves component scores — auditable, never rewritten

Capability 02

A recruiter assistant you can actually talk to

"Show me the top 5 with Procore experience." "Compare candidates 2 and 4 — what's the trade-off?" "Draft outreach to the top 3, friendly tone." The assistant knows your sessions, your candidates, and has 17 tools at its disposal — calendar, mail, sourcing queries, rubric tuning, and more.

  • 17 tools — query, compare, schedule, draft, tune, source
  • Per-session and cross-session chat surfaces
  • Configurable autonomy: confirm each, notify after, or act silently

Capability 03

Long-horizon agents that work while you sleep

Tell the assistant "send me a weekly shortlist for the BD job every Monday at 9 UTC." It creates a persistent agent task. Each Monday it surfaces the week's top scorers, drafts a digest into your mailbox, and pings your Slack channel. You wake up to a curated pipeline.

  • Cron-scheduled tasks that survive across chat sessions
  • Daily triage, team digests, outreach follow-up, and more
  • Slack / Microsoft Teams delivery alongside email drafts

Capability 04

A rubric that learns from your rejections

Every time you reject a candidate Calibr ranked highly, the assistant records the signal. After 5+ rejections it can propose weight changes — "drop technical 5 points, lift industry alignment 5" — with rationale and a confidence score. Opt in to auto-apply the high-confidence proposals; the existing sessions auto-rescore.

  • record_rejection_feedback captures every miss
  • tune_rubric proposes weight deltas with confidence
  • Optional auto-apply when confidence is high; audit-logged

Capability 05

AI voice screening — your shortlist gets called automatically

Calibr can dial every shortlisted candidate, run a structured screener (intro, role fit, salary, notice, deal-breakers), transcribe the call, extract structured data, and recommend proceed / borderline / reject — all before you've had your morning coffee. UAE phone numbers ship today; Indian + global rollouts in Q2.

  • Vapi + Twilio under the hood — your numbers, your minutes, your control
  • Sonnet 4.6 drafts the screening script from your job spec; you edit before dial
  • Per-org daily cost ceiling + Do-Not-Call list + recording retention auto-purge

Capability 06

Cost controls your CFO will love

Three daily ceilings — assistant chat spend, scoring + parsing spend, voice call cost — capped per org and enforced *before* any Anthropic or Vapi request fires. Every dollar is logged per feature so the Usage tab shows exactly where Claude is being spent. Sonnet 4.6 prompt caching keeps typical per-CV scoring under $0.05.

  • Daily caps on assistant, scoring, and voice spend — refused at the cap, not after
  • Per-feature LLM cost breakdown so finance sees the bill, not a black box
  • Prompt-caching + Haiku fallback keep per-CV scoring cost typically under $0.05

How it works

From 1,000 CVs to a shortlist — and beyond.

Scoring is just the beginning. Calibr keeps working: a recruiter assistant you can chat with, calendar and email drafts the assistant prepares, and a daily triage that runs on its own.

  1. 01

    Define the role

Paste a job description or let Claude extract requirements automatically. Tune scoring weights per role — technical, experience, education, soft skills, additional.

  2. 02

    Upload CVs

Drag a folder, pick from SharePoint or OneDrive, or drop a zip. Calibr handles PDF, DOCX, and scanned files. Five specialist AI agents score each CV in parallel.

  3. 03

Review your shortlist — or chat with the assistant

Top matches surface first with full reasoning. Or open the assistant: "show me everyone with a PMP", "compare the top 3", "summarize this session". It knows your data and replies in plain English.

  4. 04

Schedule interviews + draft outreach from the chat

Connect your Outlook or Gmail once. The assistant creates calendar events with Teams/Meet links, saves email drafts to your Drafts folder, and adds notes to candidate records — all from the conversation. You review and click Send.

  5. 05

Wake up to a daily triage

Switch on Daily Triage in Settings → Automations. Each morning Calibr summarizes new high-scoring candidates across your active sessions and saves a digest as an email draft. You start the day knowing who's worth your attention.

  6. 06

Bring Calibr into your AI client

Mint a Calibr Personal Access Token in Settings → API Tokens, paste it into Claude Desktop or Cursor, and your screening data becomes a tool in any AI conversation. Ask Claude "what jobs are open at Calibr?" and it reads from your live pipeline.

  7. 07

Let Calibr phone-screen your shortlist (UAE first)

Switch on Voice Screening in Settings → Voice. Calibr drafts a screener script from your job spec, dials every shortlisted candidate, runs a 2-3 minute structured interview, captures expected salary + notice + language fit, and tags each candidate proceed / borderline / reject. Calls happen during business hours in the candidate's local timezone; recordings auto-purge after your retention window.

Frequently asked

Honest answers, no marketing fog.

The questions early-access users actually ask us. If yours isn't here, message us — we'll add it.

Do I need to bring my own Anthropic API key?
Yes — Calibr is BYO-key for the LLM tier. Each organisation adds their Anthropic key in Settings → API Keys and we store it encrypted in Supabase Vault. Operators can opt in to a platform-fallback key as a safety net, but the default is your key, your bill, your scoping.
Is my candidate data isolated from other tenants?
Every tenant table has Postgres Row-Level Security pinned to get_active_org_id(). The frontend reads via supabase-js (RLS-enforced) and writes via the BFF which double-checks the active org on every request. There is no "view all orgs" mode — even platform admins are scoped to one active org at a time.
What file formats can Calibr parse?
PDF and DOCX, single-file or batch (up to 20 at a time). Image-only PDFs are OCR'd via Tesseract before extraction. The parsing pipeline tries PyMuPDF first, falls back to pdfplumber, and ends with a Claude cleanup pass when raw extraction is too sparse to score.
How does the recruiter assistant know what to do?
The assistant is a Claude Sonnet 4.6 chat with 17 tools wired into your live data — query candidates, compare two CVs, draft outreach, propose interview slots, save the email to your Drafts, schedule the meeting on your calendar, take notes, and tune the scoring rubric. You stay in the loop: nothing is sent or scheduled without your click.
What is the MCP integration?
Calibr ships as a remote Model Context Protocol server. Mint a Personal Access Token in Settings, drop the URL into Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP client, and ask "what's open in Calibr?" — the LLM pulls live pipeline data and can even leave notes on candidates with a write-scoped token.
How does the auto-tuning rubric work?
Every time you reject, hire, or flag a candidate as over/underscored, Calibr captures the signal alongside the candidate's component scores. After 5+ feedback events on a job, the assistant proposes weight adjustments with rationale and confidence. If you've enabled auto-apply and confidence is high, the new weights take effect immediately — and a Postgres trigger queues a rescore on every active session for that job. No manual rescore step.
Which OAuth scopes does Calibr request?
Three pools, each opt-in per recruiter: Files (read-only access to SharePoint / OneDrive / Google Drive for batch CV import), Calendar (read-write so the assistant can propose slots and schedule), and Mail (compose-only — Calibr saves drafts to your Drafts folder; we deliberately never send on your behalf). You can disconnect any pool at any time in Settings → Connections.
What happens if my Anthropic key isn't set?
pages.marketing.faq.q8Answer
Can my whole team use one Calibr workspace?
Yes — Calibr is multi-tenant from day one. Owners invite members with five role tiers (viewer, hiring_manager, recruiter, admin, owner) and can override individual module permissions per user. The audit log captures who did what; the Usage tab breaks down LLM cost per feature so finance has visibility.
How much does Calibr cost?
We're in early access — pricing is being finalised based on what early users tell us is fair. Today the cost you bear is your own Anthropic API spend (typically a few cents per CV scored, cached aggressively). Reach out via the contact link below and we'll set up your workspace.
Can Calibr actually call candidates?
Yes — Voice Screening is live for UAE phone numbers today (Vapi + Twilio under the hood). Calibr drafts the script from your job spec, dials the candidate, runs a 2-3 minute structured screener, captures expected salary + notice + language fit, and produces a recommendation of proceed / borderline / reject. Per-org daily cost ceilings, Do-Not-Call list enforcement, and configurable recording retention all ship with v1. Indian and global rollouts are planned for Q2.
Which languages does the voice screener support?
English-only at launch. Hindi, Tagalog, and Gulf Arabic are next on the roadmap — each language needs (a) a native-recorded screener script per locale, (b) the Vapi assistant configured with the right Speech-to-Text + Text-to-Speech model, and (c) compliance copy reviewed by a regional recruiter. The UI itself is already trilingual (English / हिन्दी / العربية).
Does Calibr help me write sourcing strings for LinkedIn?
Yes — the assistant ships a generate_sourcing_queries tool. Hand it a job and it produces three ranked Boolean strings tuned to that role (skills, seniority, location hints), three LinkedIn search URLs you can click straight from chat, and 5-10 target-company suggestions based on the preferred-industries you've set. No external crawling, no LinkedIn scraping — just a focused prompt to Sonnet 4.6 that pulls the same job context the scoring agents see.
Does the recruiter dashboard speak Hindi and Arabic?
Yes — the entire dashboard, marketing site, voice-screening detail panels, every settings tab, all status badges and empty states flip between English / हिन्दी / العربية via the language picker in the top bar. Arabic auto-renders right-to-left from the very first server-rendered paint. The cookie is sticky so the recruiter only picks their language once.
